Spectraverb 18 1X12 Hand Wired Blackface Style Guitar Amp

The Spectraverb 18 1X12 combo is based on the famous AB763 “Blackface” circuits and incorporate several upgrades and improvements (see below). The Spectraverb amps are designed to avoid the flubby or splatty bass tones common on the classic designs of amps of this size.  Although the form factor of the amp resembles a well known model named after an Ivy League university, the design more closely resembles that of larger amps of the same builder.  A lot of time and effort have gone into component selection and fine tuning to achieve outstanding tone and reliability.   Standard features include;

  • Very solid and dependable hand-wired (in USA) construction
  • Very durable solid pine cabinet construction
  • Lush tube-driven spring reverb
  • Excellent compatibility with a huge variety of effects pedals
  • Medium-low gain with beautiful clean tones and classic American style bluesy crunch
  • All tube design with 6V6 output tubes
  • “Grab and Go” size and weight
  • 1 year limited warranty

And quite a few improvements over the classic “blackface” design such as;

    • 12″ Speaker
    • Midrange control
    • Upgraded USA transformers
    • Improved circuit design for tighter, less “farty” bass response
    • New exclusive reverb limiter control
    • Hand-wiring on very heavy duty epoxy glass turret boards
    • 4/8/16 ohm speaker output jacks
